BLUE BLOCK: January Jones hit a blue note Thursday night as she stepped out for a private screening of “La Revolution Bleue” at New York’s Paris Theatre, hosted by Jones, Christie’s and La Mer. The documentary chronicles the creation of Yves Klein’s celebrated painting “FC1 (Fire-Color 1),” which is expected to earn more than $30 million at the block Tuesday as part of Christie’s Post War & Contemporary Evening Sale. A portion of the painting’s sales will benefit Oceana, an international ocean advocacy organization, of which Jones serves as ambassador.

“Blue is my favorite color,” said Jones, decked in a Mary Katrantzou peplum frock and Sergio Rossi heels, who added that the shade also has a fan in her infant son, Xander Dane. “[He] responds to it.”

The after party, held at Casa Lever, featured tunes by DJ Luke Tacon, ocean-hued cosmo cocktails and gift bags from La Mer, an Oceana partner. In attendance were event co-hosts Susan and David Rockefeller; Christie’s chief executive officer Steven Murphy; Loic Gouzer, and Brett Gorvy, and guests Georgina Bloomberg, La Mer’s Sandra Main, Stavros Niarchos, Ahn Duong and Lauren Remington-Platt.
