BOARD WATCH: Jordi Constans, who stepped down as chairman and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton last December, has joined Puig as a member of the board, the Barcelona-based fashion and fragrance company confirmed.
A Spanish national, Constans joined Vuitton in September 2011 from French food giant Danone SA, where he had helmed its fresh dairy products division. A graduate of business and economics from Barcelona’s Central University, Constans joined Danone in 1990 and held various positions in marketing and sales before becoming general manager for Spain in 2002 and France in 2004.

According to the Puig Web site, the board counts six directors, plus chairman and chief executive officer Marc Puig and vice chairman Manuel Puig.
