DANCE AWAY: A troupe of modern dancers wearing Bottega Veneta’s spring collection appear in the Italian brand’s new promotional video, “Emotion of Sound,” which launches on the fashion house’s Web site today. The dancers pirouette, jump and execute their moves in a stark white room to a soundtrack based on the sounds of Bottega Veneta artisans working in their Vicenza workshop.

The company will screen the video as part of an installation at its Tokyo Ginza store running March 7 through 16. The installation will also feature an interactive component in which customers can see their own silhouettes transformed into animated Bottega Veneta-clad dancers that move across a screen.

“Sound can be a very intriguing sense, and just as other senses highly personal. It can convey a lot about its source and can trigger imagination unique to the individual,” said Tomas Maier, Bottega Veneta’s creative director.
