NEW LENS: Bottega Veneta has tapped Raymond Meier to shoot its cruise 2016 advertising campaign, debuting in the December issues of international fashion magazines.

The Swiss photographer lensed models Josephine Le Tutour and Ben Allen with New York’s skyline as a background. “Raymond Meier’s all-around vision and distinctive interpretation of color, always displayed with a personal twist, perfectly epitomize the light-hearted and pragmatic essence of this cruise season,” said Bottega Veneta creative director Tomas Maier.

Meier is the latest artist to collaborate with Bottega Veneta. Previously, the company teamed up with photographers including Nobuyoshi Araki, Nan Goldin, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Pieter Hugo, Peter Lindbergh and Juergen Teller. Their works were collected in the “Bottega Veneta: Art of Collaboration” book, recently published by Rizzoli.
