WONDERS NEVER CEASE: Pack a blanket and head to the nearest rolling hill for an idyllic afternoon picnic. Your means of conveyance, a C. Wonder bicycle, which is, in effect, a stylish picnic-on-wheels. C. Wonder partnered with Sonoma County winery, Clos du Bois, to create the Clos Cruiser by C. Wonder in time for the openings of its Northern California stores at Santana Row in San Jose and the Village of Corte Madera in Marin County. The his-and-hers bikes come in navy and fuchsia and have wicker baskets lined with C. Wonder’s navy and white chevron-patterned fabric. Inside the basket is a bottle of Clos du Bois wine, two GoVino reusable and plastic wine glasses, and a corkscrew. There’s also room for grapes, bagettes and cheese. The Cruiser will be available at select C. Wonder stores in New York and California and on cwonder.com and closdubois.com, beginning on Oct. 22. The bikes, which have leather seats and rubberized handlebars, retail for $350.
