GROWING UP: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have posed for a Christmas photo, shot by the photographer Chris Jelf in late October. It shows the family of four, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in a casual pose on a leaf-scattered green lawn at Kensington Palace.
Jelf said that photographing the family may have been enjoyable, but it wasn’t exactly easy.
“You have to be sharp, as you don’t have long when there are two young children involved! I am honored that the Duke and Duchess have decided to share it with the public,” he said.
Separately, the royal couple has announced that Prince George is already headed to school — nursery school — in Norfolk, England, near their private residence on Queen Elizabeth’s estate.
The future King of England will begin attending Westacre Montessori School Nursery before the end of January.
“We are looking forward to welcoming George to our nursery, where he will get the same special experience as all of our children,” the school said in a statement.
The couple moved to Anmer Hall in Norfolk earlier this year to raise their children far from the buzz and media glare of London.
