CALENDAR GIRL: Actress Jessica Alba turned up the heat in Milan Tuesday night at the launch of the 2009 Campari Calendar, shot by Mario Testino. “It’s every girl’s dream to be photographed by Mario,” said Alba, who follows Eva Mendes and Salma Hayek as the face of the red aperitif. “I don’t look like that normally. Usually, I’m in sweat pants and no make up.” The sizzling calendar, which has a limited run of 9,999 copies, is the 10th in the annual series and Campari chief executive officer Bob Kunze-Concewitz said Alba was the perfect choice to mark the anniversary. “In this gloomy climate, we wanted someone sunny. Jessica is passionate, sensuous, erotic and beautiful and she is also classy. She has the looks and attitude that best represent the brand,” Kunze-Concewitz said. Alba, who was accompanied by her husband Cash Warren, looked radiant in a red Dolce & Gabbana dress and matching shoes and vintage Bulgari jewelry, at the event at La Permanente. Also there were a bevy of designers including Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, Neil Barrett, and Donatella Versace. Campari issues the calendar annually, although every two years it runs a full media campaign, which includes TV advertising. Alba will hit the small screen from March in the beach-themed Campari Club campaign shot by French director Jean-Paul Goude.
