LOUBOUTIN’S WEST SIDE STORY: Christian Louboutin dropped into Los Angeles on Thursday to celebrate his third boutique there at the Brentwood Country Mart. The cocktail party was hosted by Country Mart owner Jim Rosenfield and two other shop proprietors, Jenni Kayne and Jenny Belushi, who owns the kids’ store Poppy. Louboutin’s tiny, two-story space is decidedly California in feel, with reclaimed wood shelves and whitewashed beams. “I loved Brentwood from the first time I went there,” Louboutin said. “It has such a unique energy and is so different from Los Angeles. There is great food and good people, I just wanted to spend the whole day there.” The designer was joined by locals from the city’s west side, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Reese Witherspoon, Molly Sims and Shiva Rose. Although all the ladies were sporting red-soled stilettos, Witherspoon also had casual clothes on the brain, namely her Draper James line. “Wait till you see fall. It’s really fun,” she said.
