SpongeBob SquarePants is set to sail from the deep blue sea to the streets of Paris thanks to an upcoming creative collaboration that will launch at Colette in the spring.

London accessories designer Beatrix Ong is working with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products on a collection of luxury SpongeBob accessories, home wares and apparel that will launch at the Parisian specialty store and online.

SpongeBob by Beatrix Ong is aimed at men and women, and will roll out to Europe, Asia and North America later this year.

The full collection will include tote bags, make up bags, shirts, tees, shoes and dresses.

“Beatrix Ong’s SpongeBob collection in toile de jouy is a perfect fit for Colette,” said Sarah Andelman, the store’s creative director.

“We are very happy to welcome it to the rue Saint-Honoré.”

Apparel prices will range between 90 pounds and 200 pounds, or $137 and $305 at current exchange.-
