ANNE-VALÉRIE STEPS IN: Comptoir des Cotonniers is to reveal officially today the arrival of Anne-Valérie Hash as its creative director, confirming a report in WWD on June 10. The brand, controlled by Japanese retail giant Fast Retailing Co. Ltd., said Hash’s first collection, for the fall-winter 2015/2016 fashion season, is to be unveiled to the press in April. In addition, Hash is to collaborate with Comptoir’s merchandising, supply chain and marketing departments to develop the fashion chain’s image and visual identity.
Last year Hash shuttered her 13-year-old signature label amid challenging economic times for independent fashion companies.
A graduate of the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Hash received France’s ANDAM Prize in 2003.
