Sportswear showed its spiritual side at Cottweiler as duo Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty displayed their all-white collection in three adjoining squash courts.

The pleated and draped track tops, three-quarter-length pants and shell jackets in pearlescent bonded jersey fabrications were their minimalist take on the robes worn by the Hari Krishna devotees in London. “We were inspired by the way they mix their traditional dress with technical outerwear like camping jackets, so we re-created the silhouettes of their robes in technical fabrications,” said Ben.

The result was surprisingly delicate and strangely beautiful; a high-concept production that really delivered.
