MILAN — Vogue Italia, Italy’s Camera della Moda and fashion outlet Fidenza Village have teamed for the project Creative Spot, which will promote and showcase new Italian and International designers in a concept store.
Located at the Fidenza Village outlet in the province of Parma, the store, designed by architect Massimiliano Locatelli, will carry 18 designer brands from May through August, including Italian-Haitian designer Stella Jean, design duo Leitmotiv, French footwear label Solovière and Lebanese handbag designer Nathalie Trad.
“Supporting talented designers has always been our aim during the last decade,” said Vogue Italia’s editor in chief Franca Sozzani. “The Creative Spot is a project intended to give these designers a chance to be seen internationally.”
“The Creative Spot offers a showcase and networking opportunity to young selected talents, a new generation of creative people who share a special bond with our country and in particular Milan, which remains a lively and dynamic center of attraction of the fashion system,” said Carlo Capasa, president of the Italian chamber of fashion.
