CROCODILE ROCK: Lacoste has joined an exclusive club, hitting 10 million fans on its Facebook page — one of only six fashion brands to do so, according to research firm Stylophane. The French sportswear brand joins Converse, Adidas, Nike Football, Burberry and Levi’s in the elite circle, but still has a ways to go to catch number-one Facebook brand Converse, which boasts 32.4 million fans on the social networking site. Lacoste began actively managing its Facebook page in September 2010 and has since grown its “likes” to the 10 million mark from 1.6 million.
