WEBB’S WEB: David Webb co-owner Mark Emanuel enlisted the help of the jewelry house’s Los Angeles ambassador Brooke Davenport to celebrate the re-launch of its Tool Chest Collection on Wednesday night at the Beverly Hills home of art collector and Jumex juice heir Eugenio Lopez. “I grew up with David Webb because my mother was a huge collector,” said the Beverly Hills-by-way-of-Texas social, who is rarely seen without her heirloom and new Webb pieces. On Wednesday, she paired a diamond and enamel lariat with a v-neck Chloe dress, while other guests including Ashley Benson, Ashley Madekwe, and Kate Sumner wore pieces from Tool Chest’s Nail collection.

Originally designed in 1971, the new-again pieces, all 20 of which were strewn across two long dinner tables, retails from $2,400 to $25,000, with two unique bracelets priced at $39,000 and $77,000. The collection is available at Webb’s New York and Beverly Hills salons as well as its e-commerce site. “The brand has a lot in common with Eugenio,” said Emanuel. “It celebrates beauty and it’s expensive. But some of these pieces are relatively affordable.” For his part, Lopez, who often stays behind the scenes at his parties, stood up to make an impromptu speech, saying, “I could not say no to Brooke. And there is an art and beauty behind David Webb.” After he sat down, he asked, “Was that OK?” to which tablemates, stylists Ryan Hastings and Brad Goreski and LAX Art founder Lauri Firstenberg, gave the thumbs up.
