JUST IN TIME: Dawn Levy is banking on Manhattan’s sudden cold snap. On Wednesday, the outerwear brand, launched in fall 2011, will make its first move into its own brick-and-mortar space with a pop-up shop in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. Levy said her e-commerce site has proven to be a successful platform for the brand, which counts select locations of Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom and more among its stockists, and opening a pop-up shop was a natural progression — and also a step closer to opening an eventual flagship. The 600-square-foot space will be located at 444 Broome Street and feature a selection of down, wool and shearling coats; leather biker jackets, and other exclusives and accessories from Levy’s signature collection as well as her diffusion line, Dawn Levy 2. The shop is slated to stay open through February.
