NEW TO PARIS: Hot on the heels of a second outing at New York Fashion Week, Spanish fashion label Delpozo will open a temporary showroom in the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand from today through Oct. 2. “Our objective is the same as always, to become a point of reference on international [fashion] circuits,” said general manager Ainhoa García. “The recent New York presentation established our presence in the U.S. and with our first showroom in Paris, we hope to guarantee relationships with key and emerging markets in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.” Delpozo launched its retail expansion plan last spring with the rollout of a flagship store in Madrid’s Salamanca area. The new location was the first step in a corporate marketing initiative by owners Perfumes & Diseño to establish the brand in strategic foreign markets.

Spring/summer 2014 by creative director Josep Font will sell through 20 international sales points including company-owned boutiques; concept stores like Opening Ceremony; London’s Harvey Nichols, and online retailers Moda Operandi and Net-a-Porter. In November, the brand will open its first U.S. store, in Miami.
