DESIGNERS AS MODELS: As part of the Museum of Arts and Design’s exhibition “Ralph Pucci: The Art of the Mannequin,” Pucci’s sculptor Michael Evert will be live-sculpting a variety of models, including fashion designers Anna Sui on July 23 and Isabel Toledo on Aug. 27. Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo will also strike a pose so that he might create her likeness on June 25 at the Columbus Circle museum. Pucci collaborators and MAD members will also have the opportunity to step into the re-created Pucci Sculpting Studio.

As a side attraction,Toledo and her husband, Ruben, have designed and curated the Tiffany & Co. Foundation Jewelry Gallery, using pieces from MAD’s collection to displayed in a surrealist setting along with Ruben Toledo-designed half female-half bird jewelry mannequins.
