DKNY’s SoHo store will soon lend new meaning to the idea of Ladies Who Lunch.

On Thursday night at 6 p.m., the store will unveil “Wrap: An Underground Show, Above Ground,” the final installment of the brand’s collaboration with New Museum’s New Inc incubator program. Artist Emilie Baltz has transformed the storefront into a makeshift radio studio, from which she will record a weekly show over eight weeks. Baltz will interview female artists about their creative process and “recipe” for success, all while they share a literal wrap together — as in, the popular food item. It’s a metaphor.

The show will record its first episode on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., after which new episodes will be live-streamed on DKNY’s Facebook page each week at 1 p.m. Baltz’s first guests for the first show are Stand Up for Fashion founder Yomi Abiola and artist Ana Kras. Future artists featured will include Shantell Martin, Faith Holland, Jesse Paris Smith and Maira Kalman.

The NEW INC series is a part of DKNY’s ongoing collaboration with the museum’s New Women’s project, which provides support to female artists.
