DUCHESS ON DUTY: The Duchess of Cambridge continued her royal duties as she attended Chance U.K.’s early intervention child mentoring event held Tuesday at Islington Town Hall, where she learned more about their early childhood intervention programs.
She donned a gray Orla Kiely dress with a black pattern detail. She wore this dress during a visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2012.
Later that evening, she attended a reception and gala dinner to aid the The Art Room, a charity that utilizes art to help children and teens with emotional difficulties. A royal patron, she will present the 100WHF 2015 European Industry Leadership Award as a part of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ Philanthropic Initiatives, an association that focuses on humanitarian causes. She wore a floor-length floral Erdem gown.
Yesterday, the duchess was out and about with the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry as they attended the BAFTA premieres of “Spectre” and “Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas.”
In other royal news, a menu from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding in 2011 is up for auction at Nate D. Sanders Auctions online, with a starting bid of 650 pounds. The menu, which is available for bidding on Oct. 29, belonged to a guest at the nuptials and features the royal couple’s three-course menu details, which included marinated South Uist salmon, organic lamb with a Windsor sauce and Berkshire honey ice cream with a chocolate parfait.
