MURRAY’S MOM: The Duchess of Cambridge headed to Edinburgh Wednesday to take part in the Tennis on the Road program run by Andy Murray’s mother.
Known as the Countess of Strathearn in Scotland, she joined a session hosted by Judy Murray and met with teachers and students.
Earlier that day, the duchess, who donned a long green Max Mara coat, visited St. Catherine’s Primary School and attended its assembly. The school is part of a network where counselors from Place2Be aid students from underprivileged areas of Edinburgh and Glasgow.
This marked her latest initiative for children’s mental health. Last week, the duchess wrote a blog for The Huffington Post on the topic, part of her role as guest editor at the online publication. She was also recently made a patron of the Anna Freud Centre, a British mental-health charity.
