ACTION PLAN: The Duchess of Cambridge is firmly back on the royal engagement circuit, making her third public appearance in as many days by attending a gala Thursday evening in support of the Action on Addiction charity.
The duchess, who is around 13 weeks pregnant with her second child, wore a black knitted Temperley London dress for the event, which was held at London’s L’Anima restaurant. The royal is a patron of the charity, which works across the addiction field in research, prevention, treatment, professional education and family support.
On Tuesday, the duchess had attended the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards ceremony and, together with the Duke of Cambridge, greeted the president of Singapore during his state visit to Britain.
The duchess had been forced to cancel a number of engagements last month as she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, a temporary condition that results in nausea and vomiting during early pregnancy. She also suffered from the condition when she was pregnant with Prince George.
