WILLERSDORF TO DVF: Sarah Willersdorf has joined Diane von Furstenberg as chief marketing officer, succeeding Eran Cohen, who left the company last year.

Most recently, Willersdorf was a partner and managing director at The Boston Consulting Group.

Willersdorf said she bought her first DVF look in Australia when she was in her early 20s “and fell in love with the brand.”

“I met Sarah four years ago when we hired BCG to build a five-year plan for the CFDA, and she immediately impressed me,” said Diane von Furstenberg. “Sarah brings a very strategic approach to everything she does and is not afraid to question the status quo. She is creative, analytic and a DVF woman in every way.”

Paolo Riva, chief executive officer of DVF, added that Willersdorf was hired to lead the company’s marketing division and create engaging consumer experiences “that reinforce our brand story.”
