DYLAN’S POP-UP CANDYLAND: Dylan’s Candy Bar, the Upper East Side’s supersized candy emporium, will open a 7,000 square foot holiday pop-up shop at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue. “When customers walk through the doors I want them to feel like a kid again,” said Dylan Lauren, chief executive and founder of Dylan’s Candy Bar. “The pop-up store will be filled floor to ceiling with candy.” No exaggerations there; a life-size gingerbread house covered in lollipops, gumdrops and candy canes will apparently take center stage in the shop, and customers will be able to decorate a candy Christmas tree. Specialty items such as Sprinkles Cupcakes, nostalgic favorites and rare imported sweets will be offered for seven weeks only, beginning Nov. 21.
