The brand, which will be the title and technical sponsor of the sport event for the next two years, presented the uniform at the Armani Silos, which currently hosts the “Emotions of the Athletic Body” photo exhibition to be open to the public until Nov. 27.
The T-shirt, printed with a maxi EA7 Emporio Armani logo on the back, will be available in two colors, white and red, one for those running the marathon and the other for those competing in the relay race. For the first time, the official T-shirt will also come in a fit dedicated to women.
“The exclusive collaboration with a great brand like EA7 Emporio Armani shows how Milano Marathon is now considered one of the most prestigious competitions on the national and international sports scenario,” said Paolo Bellino, general director of RCS Sport, which organizes the event. “The 17th edition of the competition represents a milestone, an important challenge. We will unveil many novelties, and this collaboration with EA7 Emporio Armani is definitely the most important one.”
For the upcoming edition, Ethiopian legendary marathon runner Haile Gebrselassie designed a new map, which will allow runners to admire the most important monuments in the city, from the Duomo cathedral to the new skyscrapers in the Garibaldi district.
Last April, 20,000 people ran the Milano Marathon.
