CELEBRITY DESIGNER AUCTION: Chicago-based eDrop-Off is gearing up for its third celebrity charity auction on Sept. 4. Celebrities participating include: Oprah Winfrey, Alexa Chung, Lea Michelle, Giuliana Rancic, and “Mad Men” costume designer Janie Bryant and designer Christian Siriano. A total of 15 pieces, all donated from the individual’s personal closet or designer line, will be up for auction on the retailer’s eBay store. Proceeds from each sale are going directly toward the donor’s charity of choice. Highlights from the sale include a Bulgari calf leather chain strap bag, from Oprah, and a purple and black leopard print A-line skirt from Siriano.
Having just cleaned out her E! News closet, Rancic is donating the most total items — including about 100 pieces of jewelry and a collection of dresses.
The auction will run for 10 days, until Sept. 13. eDrop-Off previously hosted a celebrity auction spearheaded by Bachelorette alum Trista Sutter and a country music auction that appeared on the “Today Show,” featuring items from Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and more.
