Emporio Armani has hit Rodeo Drive. The Armani Group’s young designer brand relocated from its Brighton Way space into new 5,900-square-foot digs at 338 North Rodeo Drive at the end of January. There are 15 Emporio Armani boutiques in the U.S.
The exterior facade features transparent glass inset with metallic blades and outdoor ceilings of marmorino stucco. Inside, the two-story space is connected by a stone and stainless steel staircase, with the women’s collections downstairs and the men’s collections above. Materials include gray tone fabrics, metallic black shelves, gray silk rugs and custom millwork fixtures in the accessories areas.
To celebrate, the brand will present a Los Angeles installment of its Emporio Armani Sounds series at NeueHouse on Feb. 11 featuring a Brandon Flowers concert and a DJ set by Mark Ronson. Past Emporio Armani Sounds events have included concerts by Roísín Murphy, Klaxons, La Roux, Lion Babe and Charli XCX. For those keeping track on social media, EA has also launched an app to follow along.
