Giorgio Armani is lending his support to Facetasm this season. The Japanese brand will show at Armani’s theater on June 22 during Milan Men’s Fashion Week.

Founded in 2007 by Hiromichi Ochiai, a graduate of Japan’s Bunka Fashion College, Facetasm mixes pop-culture inspiration with tailoring.

“It is a great honor and a fantastic challenge for a small, independent team like ours to have a fashion show at Teatro Armani. I’d like to thank Giorgio Armani for offering us this opportunity,” said Ochiai, who works with a small team in the Jingumae district in Tokyo. He added: “We’re really looking forward to meeting the people of Milan, and hoping they will appreciate our originality.”

Armani has for the last few years been actively supporting emerging talents, including Stella Jean and Christian Pellizzari, by allowing them to show at his Milan space.

“I’m very happy to support the designers of the future, for the ninth season in a row,” the designer said. “I love discovering new talents, maintaining an international point of view. I wish Facetasm, the designer chosen on this occasion, a brilliant and successful future.”
