TEAMING UP: Phoebe Dahl’s Made in L.A. clothing line Faircloth & Supply will launch its first collaboration with Urban Outfitters on Sunday.
The capsule collection is made up of six organic linen and dead-stock cotton silhouettes from the brand’s debut season in new colorways retailing from $159 to $300, and will be exclusive to the retailer and its Web site.
“I’m exploring ways to open distribution outside of the brand’s site,” explained Dahl. For each Faircloth & Supply garment sold, one Nepali girl receives two school uniforms and a one-year scholarship through a partnership with General Welfare Pratisthan.
The brand has enabled nearly 1,000 Nepali girls to attend school in 2014, and Dahl aims to triple that number this year.
