Fashion Steps Up for Meatpacking District Fundraiser

Diane von Furstenberg and Theory’s Andrew Rosen will co-chair the first annual event benefiting the Meatpacking District Improvement Association (MPIA).

Open Market will be held March 18.

MEAT & GREET: Co-chairs Diane von Furstenberg and Theory’s Andrew Rosen will be rounding up their neighbors for the first annual fundraiser for the Meatpacking District Improvement Association. The one-night only Open Market will feature sample sales, DJ sets from The Misshapes and food kiosks run by local restaurants on both levels of The Highline Stages. Olivier Theyskens, Tory Burch, Rag & Bone’s David Neville and Marcus Wainwright, Intermix’s Khajak Keledjian, Alice + Olivia’s Stacey Bendet Eisner and Milk Studios’ Mazdack Rassi are pitching in on the host committee. All proceeds from the $150 will support MPIA’s efforts to spruce up the neighborhood.
