BEAUTY IN MARBLE: Ferragamo Parfums took part in Milan Design Week for the second year in a row, by sponsoring an installation at the University of Milan from April 7 to 18.

Last year, the group backed a water-themed exhibition that tied in with its Acqua Essenziale men’s eau de toilette, and there is another fragrance connection this year: Japanese studio Kengo Kuma & Associates designed the “Stone Forest” project in white Carrara marble, and one of the scents in Ferragamo’s Tuscan Soul Quintessential Collection is called Bianco di Carrara.

Emphasizing the artisan craftsmanship at the core of the installation and the fragrance, Ferragamo Parfums president Luciano Bertinelli said: “It’s a marriage that works,” adding the company was sure to continue its design week sponsorship in the future.
