INNER WORKINGS: Looking all Fifties pin-up, a couple of Le Crazy Horse dancers entertained guests at the opening party for Fifi Chachnil’s third Paris store, with the likes of Inès de la Fressange and actress Julie Depardieu in attendance. “We are targeting a more Parisian clientele, with this opening,” said Chachnil, who also has a store in London.
In Chachnil’s image, the new Paris boutique, which is located on Rue de Grenelle, marking the designer’s first address on Paris’ left bank, evokes a retro boudoir with its candy pink walls, net curtains and lampshades.
Measuring 624-square-feet, the store’s assortment includes the brand’s signature lace, bow and polka dot lingerie designs, as well as the spring-summer collection inspired by the Le Crazy Horse cabaret.
The designer also has a pop-up store on Boulevard de la Croisette during the Cannes International Film Festival. The Fifi Chachnil brand is distributed in around 50 doors internationally.
