ART NIGHT: Calvin Klein and the New Museum in New York have a history. When the museum opened its Bowery location in 2007, it was the brand that came on as a sponsor of the kick-off party.

So when it was time to show off New Inc., the museum’s new art and tech incubator, creative directors Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli came to the rescue again with a party Wednesday night featuring camera-friendly personalities, like the ubiquitous Gigi Hadid and Zachary Quinto.

“For us, this is just a follow up. It was about time,” Costa said. Asked why of all the museums in the city Calvin chose this one to shower with its support, the designer gave an answer perfectly in sync with the brand: “It’s the youngest.”

Last year around the same time as Art Basel Miami, Costa was in South Beach to promote a capsule collection for The Webster. Was he going back to the annual art party this year? Not at the moment, he said. “The arts are great, but we picked our spot and the New Museum is it.”
