IN THE FAMILY: “It’s haute cute-ure,” quipped actress Audrey Marnay ahead of the Bonpoint show in Paris on Wednesday afternoon, in which kids as young as two toddled down the runway.
Marc and Sarah Lavoine had a particular reason for attending – their two sons were walking the show, including four-year-old Milo, who made his fashion debut.
“I don’t think he will walk straight. We’ll see,” said Sarah Lavoine, an interior designer who is currently working on hotels in Paris and Martinique.
Her sister Marie Poniatowski is a friend of the house – she designs jewelry for Bonpoint, as in a necklace with the brand’s cherry motif sported by Marnay, sitting next to her.
“It’s available in yellow gold, pink gold,” said Marnay.
“She’s better at the marketing spiel than me,” laughed Poniatowski.
Marnay also has her own connection to the brand: Her charity Les Enfants de Bam, which helps encourage schooling for children in Burkina Faso, has collaborated with Bonpoint on several occasions, most recently as part of its tie-in with Golden Goose.
