What does one do after the split of your boy band? If you’re Joe Jonas, he of the namesake band, you’re hitting a lot of shows this fashion week.

On Thursday, he was front row at Duckie Brown. Now, Jonas has had a standing interest in fashion for some time and has gotten to know some of the more inside players. Before the show started, he was chatting at length with Eric Jennings, vice president and men’s fashion director for Saks Fifth Avenue. Earlier, he went to Richard Chai and later he would be hitting up Todd Snyder.

“I’ve always wanted to have an interest in, like, watching the shows and I’m always calling friends, or I’m going to shops the next day or calling the designers and being like, ‘Hey, can I get this?'” Jonas said. The full schedule this season is part of a gig he’s landed picking his favorite runway looks for the Web site of New York magazine, which last year published a lengthy first-person personal essay about growing up under Disney.

“I’m not a critic at all,” Jonas said. “I take a peek at it and think, I can put that into my style.'”
