TOKYO FRONT ROW: Retired figure skater Miki Ando has hung up her skates and is turning her attention to the fashion world. The two-time world champion and former Olympian sat front row at the In-Process by Hall Ohara show Wednesday, taking in her first Tokyo fashion week and working as a collaborator for Japanese agency Kyodo News. “I have an interest in fashion. I’m modeling sometimes. I do photo shooting for the magazines,” said Ando. Case in point, Numero Japan just dedicated an eight pages to the former athlete in its April issue. Ando opened the spread, entitled “Graceful Strength,” wearing a strapless Pucci gown. She made it clear her fashion ambitions don’t stop there. “I also want to do some fashion week, maybe in New York,” she said.
