KORS’ CROWD: “I love fashion week,” proclaimed Kate Hudson, as she was ushered into her front row seat at Michael Kors. “All your friends are in town, and Michael is an old friend of mine.” Wearing Kors’ daffodil cropped knit and daffodil peony print skirt from the spring collection, Hudson said she had another friend, Karlie Kloss, walking in the show.
Hudson has dipped into the fashion business herself with her line of activewear called Fabletics. “It’s doing great. It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience for everyone,” said Hudson, about her exclusively online business. As for her movie career, she’s working on a Lee Daniels movie about Richard Pryor starring Mike Epps and Oprah Winfrey.
Allison Williams, dressed in a Kors indigo embroidered top and skirt from spring and flashing a beautiful diamond ring from her fiance, CollegeHumor co-founder Ricky Van Veen, said she was looking forward to taping more episodes of “Girls.”
“It’s sooner than I thought, and I have some homework to do,” said Williams (who’s been kind of busy) and plays Marnie Michaels on the HBO TV series. Kors was the only show Williams was going to during fashion week.
Others in Kors’ front row were Lily Aldridge, Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Palermo, Jessica Hart, Harley Viera Newton, Leigh Lezark, Tao Okamto, Caroline de Maigret, Alexandra Richards and Tiffany of Girls’ Generation, a Korean all girl pop band — all dressed in Kors and creating a veritable Michael Kors fashion show in the front row as well.
