Ethan Peck, grandson of Gregory Peck, is prepping up for his first role as a villain in “Star,” a Fox TV show to debut in January. And just how is he doing so? “I’m storing any pent-up frustration and going to let it loose,” said Peck at the Salvatore Ferragamo show.
Armie Hammer is picking up some Italian as he has been living in the northern town of Crema for the past two months filming “Call Me By Your Name,” directed by Luca Guadagnino. “He’s amazing and so talented, I’m having the time of my life,” said Hammer of the director, after proving his language prowess with WWD. Asked about his relationship with Guy Ritchie, who directed him in “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” Hammer was equally appreciative. “We are great buddies, it was amazing work.”
Ahead of the show, attended also by Luke Evans and NBA ace Serge Ibaka, chief executive officer Michele Norsa said he was “full of hope” the U.K. would vote to remain part the European Union. “I have always been a fully convinced Europeanist,” admitted Norsa, who is expected to pass the ceo’s baton to Eraldo Poletto in August.
