Furla is getting into the holiday spirit.
The Italian accessories brand will set a pop-up shop in San Francisco for the shopping-centric season.
Occupying more than 1,000 square feet in a converted town house dating back to 1909, the space will house bags, shoes, jewelry and small leather goods for men and women.
It is located at 216 Stockton Street near the Union Square shopping district. The shop opened last week, and is expected to remain in operation for a full year.
The pop-up is the 13thFurla location in the U.S. and the brand’s 24th shop in the Americas.
Said Furla general manager Alberto Camerlengo: “The new opening represents an additional step in Furla’s expansion strategy. San Francisco has grown so fast in the past few years and it is the perfect West Coast destination for Furla since the connection with its sophisticated and elegant customer.”
The rapidly changing city has indeed become a focal point for luxury consumership in the last year. Elite destinations including A.P.C., Goop and the Gagosian Gallery have either open or tested doors in the city in recent months.
