JEAN GENIE: In Paris for the launch of the line she co-designed for Hudson Jeans, Georgia May Jagger managed to squeeze in shoots for British Harper’s Bazaar and French magazine Jalouse. “It was very cold,” she said of the Harper’s shoot, which took place near a river on the outskirts of Paris. “I was doing it for my jeans, so I wore these and then they cut some into shorts,” said Jagger, pointing to her skinny black jeans laced up at the sides. Surrounded by a noisy throng at upscale boutique Montaigne Market, the 19-year-old gamely posed for photos with guests. The daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall is studying art and photography in New York, but said she was happy to leave music to the men in her life. “People ask me this, but I mean, I don’t know how to keep time very well and I don’t sing very well. I only sing in the shower,” she said. Instead, she has been snapping photos of her two favorite bands: her brother’s group Turbogeist and Nightmare & The Cat, the band fronted by her boyfriend Django James.
