GIORGIO’S TOASTS ONE YEAR: It’s been a year since Angelenos rediscovered disco via Giorgio’s, the weekly late-night party at The Standard Hollywood, and regulars toasted the anniversary Saturday night with a party hosted by Giorgio Moroder himself. The 74-year-old disco impresario, along with the party’s founders Bryan Rabin and Adam Michael Bravin welcomed Russell Simmons, Tony Kanal, Eric and Lisa Eisner, Jimmy Iovine and Liberty Ross, David LaChapelle, Blaine and Crystal Lourd, Arianne Phillips, Max Greenfield, Janie Bryant, Christos Garkinos, Jonas and B Akerlund, Lance Bass and Balthazar Getty, among others. “It’s kind of amazing that it has been a year and is still fun,” mused Rabin. “I think disco is not a dirty word anymore.” said Moroder of his namesake party. Guests started the evening in a portrait studio with Albert Sanchez and ended with a performance by Jody Watley.
