Giulietta is showing something new, beyond the clothes. At today’s runway show, the brand will debut its first shoe offering.
The move marks a return to accessories for designer Sofia Sizzi. Prior to founding Giulietta, Sizzi worked as a shoes and accessories designer at Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Donna Koran and Gucci.
“For the past several seasons press and buyers have loved the shoes from our runway show, so I knew the interest was there,” Sizzi said of the decision to launch shoes. “Given my extensive experience in shoe design, the launch of a shoe collection feels like a natural move for the brand.”
The capsule collection for spring includes five styles, done in a color palette of lilac, lemon, orange, and black and white, with Swarovski crystal embellishments. The shoes are manufactured in Italy in collaboration with Roberta Rossi Studio. Giulietta’s runway show will be held today at 2pm at the Highline Hotel.
