Midtown hotel The Gregory may be a relative newcomer to the garment district, but in the seven months since it set up residence on West 35th Street — in the former site of The Gregorian, an early-20th-century society haunt beloved by Ladies Who Lunch for its English-inspired Palm Court Cafe — The Gregory has firmly established itself as a neighborhood mainstay, and made lots of fashion industry friends along the way.

There are the bar staff uniforms designed by Yeohlee, whose headquarters are just a few blocks south on Broadway, and the Yeohlee x Hickey Freeman front of house staff looks. There’s an on-site Caravan stylist studio, which hosts designers, editors, celebrities, and VIPs for awards season and special events and even model-spotting (Tyson Beckford has been spotted at the bar).

This New York Fashion Week, The Gregory has partnered with five New York-based designers — Nicole Miller, Nanette Lepore, Hickey Freeman, Yeohlee, and Sylvia Heisel to create a limited-edition cocktail menu garnished with custom-made runway model-inspired 3-D-printed drink stirrers.

There’s the Chambord Margarita by Nicole Miller, a tequila, Chambord, lime juice, and simple syrup concoction; the Hickey by Hickey Freeman, made from gin, cucumber, dill, demon juice, simple syrup, and soda; the Amanhattan by Nanette Lepore, all Southern with its Kentucky bourbon, sweet vermouth, bitters, and cherry; a 3-D Ginger by Sylvia Heisel, with vodka, ginger ale, and angostura bitters, and the Anak Arak by Yeohlee Teng, made with Arak (an anise liquor), orange juice, lime juice, and lemon juice.

The Fashion Week cocktail collection will be available at The Gregory’s lobby bar, The Liquor Cabinet, through Thursday.
