In line with Gucci’s new course initiated by president and chief executive officer Marco Bizzarri earlier this year, the Italian luxury firm is changing the venue of its men’s wear show this season.

WWD has learned that the brand’s new creative director Alessandro Michele is expected to unveil the spring 2016 men’s collection at the former Farini railway station in Milan’s via Valtellina.

This is a first for Gucci, after about a decade of shows held at a theater in piazza Oberdan, near the Sheraton Diana Majestic hotel. While the Italian Chamber of Fashion has yet to issue the official calendar of the city’s Men’s Fashion Week, Gucci is expected to show on June 22, maintaining its Monday slot at 12.30.
