GUCCI ON THE GO: Gucci fans in North America and Europe can now buy the Italian brand’s latest collections from their cell phones, as the company has optimized its Web site for iOS and Android browsers. “Based on the rapid growth we have seen in mobile purchases, it was important for us to create the kind of luxury experience in mobile that we are known for in the industry and that our customers expect from us,” said Gucci president and chief executive officer Patrizio di Marco.

Brooklyn agency Huge collaborated with Gucci’s digital teams on the mobile site, which will also be available to customers in the Asia-Pacific region starting this spring.
