GOLD RUSH: Guests at the Gucci boutique in Milan’s Via Montenapoleone craned their necks for a view of Charlotte Casiraghi, who fronts the advertising campaign for Gucci’s debut makeup line with P&G Prestige, seen on the catwalk this Wednesday. The makeup was prominently displayed in store, alongside screens projecting video footage from the campaign.
Casiraghi said the collaboration with the Italian fashion house had special meaning “given my great friendship with Frida [Giannini].”
Gucci’s creative director was also at the party, and said seeing the makeup on the models was exhilarating after the four years spent developing the color range.
“You always see the products and you try them out, but really you never have the full perception of what it will look like on the runway,” she said, citing the gold pencil and eye shadow as personal favorites.
