Gwen Stefani is about to become a Harajuku girl herself. The singer will be in Tokyo during the city’s upcoming fashion week, thanks to a campaign she is doing for MasterCard. The credit card company has signed on as an official partner of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo, which runs March 14 through 19.

Advertisements online and in high-profile locations such as the Roppongi Hills shopping complex show Stefani next to the MasterCard logo and the campaign slogan “MasterCard Priceless Japan.” Cardholders who use their card for purchases of 5,000 yen, or $41.50, or more before the end of January will be entered into a drawing, the grand prize of which is a face-to-face meeting with Stefani during Tokyo fashion week.

Other prizes include backstage tours and the chance to meet some of the designers who present their collections during Tokyo’s fashion week, and shopping vouchers that can be used at department stores across Japan.

“For MasterCard, this sponsorship signifies an opportunity to give local style lovers unparalleled access to some of this country’s most visionary and creative designers,” Nandan Mer, MasterCard’s division president for Japan, said in a press release. “It also allows us to celebrate Japan — a country known globally for its massive influence on design, art and innovation — with just a swipe or tap of a MasterCard card or payment device.”
