YOUNG BLOOD: Actress Hailee Steinfeld is heading to Milan Fashion Week and is scheduled to make a front-row appearance at Max Mara’s show today, WWD has learned. The ingenue is the 2013 recipient of the Women in Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award, established in 2006 to recognize a film or television star at a turning point in her career. Past winners include Chloë Grace Moretz, Emily Blunt, Zoe Saldana and Katie Holmes.

In 2010, Steinfeld won multiple industry plaudits for her turn as a feisty farm girl hellbent on revenge in “True Grit,” a Western directed by the Coen brothers and also starring Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin. The 16-year-old recently finished filming “3 Days to Kill” opposite Kevin Costner and is playing in a slew of other movies, including Carlo Carlei’s “Romeo & Juliet” and the sci-fi adventure “Ender’s Game.”

The Max Mara prize is to be bestowed on June 12 at the annual Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards gala in Beverly Hills.
