Hong Kong-based designers are preparing to hit the road.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, which organizes Hong Kong Fashion Week, is planning two runway shows at Copenhagen Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week to showcase the work of local designers as part of its “Fashion Hong Kong” initiative.
The Copenhagen show will take place at 3 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Copenhagen City Hall. It will showcase the work of Doris Kath Chan, Kenax Leung and Lulu Cheung.
The New York show will take place at 4 p.m. on Feb. 12 at The Dock, Skylight at Moynihan Station. The participating brands are Loom Loop by Polly Ho, Hidy N.G. and Harrison Wong.
A similar Hong Kong government-backed show of designers took place during New York Fashion Week in September.
