A Hong Kong-based lingerie brand managed to tap into the frenzy of Madonna’s tour through Asia to promote itself. Raven and Rose, which launched its first collection last year, staged a photo shoot with Madonna’s “Rebel Heart Tour” dancers at The Peninsula in Hong Kong on Feb. 19. Hong Kong-based photographer Mherck Dela Cruz and art director Nicoline Aagesen coordinated the event, which saw the dancers engaging in raunchy behavior, involving a lot of groping, flipping of the bird and jamming of cash into panties. Mesh triangle bras with elastic straps reminiscent of bondage are Raven and Rose’s key product and feature prominently in the images.

“[The shoot] was set up to show the wild and reckless side of the brand and who we align ourselves with,” said Jasmine Smith, founder and designer of the brand. Smith said she will use the images to promote her brand’s e-commerce business on social media. “This lingerie goes far beyond classic and conservative realms. It’s not just undergarments for everyday wear or for nights with your lover — it’s an edgy attitude that represents a wildness and enables its wearer to express themselves in daring ways.”

Madonna took a break from her tour last week to put in an appearance at Tokyo’s Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza to promote her skin-care line, MDNA Skin.
