HOT COCA: Johnny Coca, head design director for leather goods, accessories, shoes and jewelry at Céline, is the front-runner for the creative director role at Mulberry, according to industry sources. Other candidates include Blue Farrier, who recently left her job as creative director of Issa, and Hannah MacGibbon, the former creative director of Chloé. Coca, who has been in the job since 2010, told WWD he is planning to stay put at Céline, which is owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and Mulberry declined to comment. Coca formerly worked for Bally and Louis Vuitton in accessories. Mulberry has been hunting for a creative director since 2013, when Emma Hill departed.
